Conduct detailed review of pertinent medical records, hospital policies and professional standards of care, to ascertain if the case warrants merit. Additionally the review may identify, or exclude current defendants, and witnesses, or reveal new parties. The evaluation may also reveal previously unidentified information.

Conduct evidenced-based medical research which supports the appropriate, professional, Standards of Care, as well as hospital policies and procedures.

After the research has been completed, a summation report will be completed, identifying findings, and conveying the opinion of the Consultant, on all relevant issues. 

Provide expert testimony in depositions and court trials regarding the medical aspects of a case.

Develop a detailed chronology of medical events to highlight key facts and issues in a case.

Act as a liaison between attorneys, healthcare providers, and clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of medical issues.

Advise attorneys on case strategy from a medical standpoint, including identifying strengths and weaknesses in a case.

Help prepare witnesses, including medical professionals, for depositions and trial testimonies.

Review and summarize medical literature to provide context and support for case arguments.

Ensure that medical care provided meets the appropriate standards and complies with relevant regulations.
